Research Data Lifecycle
The research data lifecycle is a fundamental concept in scientific practice that describes how a project's data evolves, from its creation through to its sharing and archiving.
Several different models of the data lifecycle exist, but the core principles generally remain the same. For example, some models emphasize metadata management, while others focus on data security. Despite these variations, the key stages (collection, processing, analysis, preservation, and sharing of data) are present in all models.
